Uranium Extraction Process Technologies: A Review of Current Best Practices
This one-day work shop explores the current best practices and developments in uranium extraction methods. Process flow sheets for uranium extraction from alkaline and acid leach solutions will be reviewed. Relevant topics include Ion-Exchange, Solvent Extraction, Resin-in-Pulp, Resin-in Leach, Molecular Recognition Technology, and Chelation Recovery.
Presenters are drawn from an international group of practicing metallurgists, process engineers and researchers.
This workshop is aimed at metallurgists and engineers involved in process development and improvement programs. A basic understanding of uranium chemistry and recovery methods is assumed.
